This is an acrylic painting portraying a young man on a spring turkey hunt, with a nice Tom staring him down. Who will be the first to move? The painting is on two wild Eastern Turkey tail feathers.  The base of the shafts are adorned with body and covert feathers.  The feathers are matted and framed in a shadow box.

This was a commissioned piece. The client bartered with me, receiving the painting in exchange for a full tail fan.
